Parents

Parent Support and Guidance

Parenting is a challenging journey filled with love.

I offer tools to strengthen parenting skills and build meaningful family connections through two types of sessions:

  • Parent Support as Part of Child Therapy: Bi-weekly sessions to enhance understanding and strengthen family bonds.

  • Personalized Parenting Guidance: Weekly sessions to address daily challenges and develop emotional tools.

Let's work together to create a strong foundation for sensitive and empowering parenting.

Travelers

Emotional Support on the Journey

Traveling the world can be an opportunity for personal growth, but it is sometimes accompanied by feelings of loneliness, instability, or self-searching.

For dealing with internal and external changes,

I offer online emotional therapy for travelers – young people, families, and individuals – who wish to address the unique challenges of their journey.

About Me

I'm Anna Li - Drama Therapist, Community Theatre Director, and Mother

I began my journey in the field of therapy out of a deep love for stories and the world of the stage. By observing the tension between characters, the challenges of changing circumstances, and the strengths that emerge through adversity, I discovered tools that continue to guide me in my therapeutic work and in my personal life. The ability to observe from the outside or step into someone else's shoes allows for processing, discovering, and practicing diverse ways of coping.

The Integration of Personal and Community Therapy

Until recently, I worked in my own private clinic in the heart of Tel Aviv, alongside my role as a drama therapist at a treatment center for the Tel Aviv Municipality. In this framework, I supported families and children through emotional processes requiring sensitivity, creativity, and deep understanding. I believe in the importance of connecting the individual to the surrounding community, and in linking personal stories to the wider world.

Professional Journey

I hold a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Drama Therapy from the University of Haifa and a Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed.) in Theatre Directing and Teaching from Seminar Hakibbutzim College. Over the years, I have gained experience in various fields:

  • Teaching theatre to children and adolescents in schools and community projects.

  • Providing emotional therapy in educational settings, including schools for mental and behavioral disorders and special education classes.

  • Leading youth theatre groups in boarding schools and youth advancement centers.

During my travels abroad, I completed an internship at PTSC, a trauma center in New Haven, Connecticut, where I applied the DvT (Developmental Transformations) model in schools as part of the ALIVE project. Upon returning to Israel, I continued to deepen my knowledge of this model at the local DvT Institute, while also providing therapy in private clinics and educational institutions.

Changing Realities

In October 2023, following the outbreak of the war in Israel,

I embarked on a personal and family journey. During this time, I met travelers and families seeking peace and stability amid uncertainty. These encounters inspired me to continue my work and offer online emotional therapy, making it possible for anyone, anywhere, to receive guidance through their challenges.

Vision

With over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and parents dealing with stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges, I believe in the power of human connection, creativity, and play to nurture emotional resilience. Every person deserves to be seen, heard, and to be the hero of their own story.

I invite you to join me on a shared journey where we can reflect on the drama of life and play with it, from anywhere in the world. Contact me and let's begin the path together
